Birth in Mind, Hypnobirthing & the easibirthing® approach
The birth of your baby can be a most wonderful experience in your life!
And preparing yourself in mind and body enables you to make the most of your own, individual experience. I have chosen to specialise in the easibirthing® method as it has been developed specifically for the UK in consultation with midwives and is accredited by the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. Dawn Fox-Davies Birth in Mind offers you the chance to learn the skills and techniques of hypnobirthing that you can use by yourself to make the most of your birth experience.
Choose what works for you:
Why use hypnobirthing?
It trains you in: self-hypnosis, relaxation, visualisation and breathing techniques that you can use during birth. It benefits both you, and your partner, to experience being : calm, focused, informed and in control - all the elements required for feeling: more relaxed, more empowered and more comfortable. It is safe to use in the birthing pool, alongside analgesics and other interventions. Using this method, birth partners can benefit too, learning the relaxation techniques to take an active part in the support of your labour. Clinical studies indicate a range of benefits in using hypnobirthing for both mothers and babies: shorter first & second stage labours, less analgesia and anaesthetics, and fewer interventions. Please contact me to discuss any questions you may have concerning hypnosis for childbirth. |
